The African Ministers & Community Leaders Association (AMCLA, referred to in this policy as we, us or our) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of every person who engages with us. AMCLA is a subsidiary of MultiDO, a registered and authorised Financial Services Provider (FSP 55361). 2. How we collect your information
We collect personal information directly from you when you complete a form, send us an email or speak with us; automatically through your use of our website; and, where relevant, from MultiDO and our authorised partners in the course of providing financial services to you.
3. Why we process your information
We process personal information for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the information, support or services you request.
- To process and administer membership applications and partnership requests.
- To arrange and conduct financial, insurance and investment consultations through MultiDO as an authorised Financial Services Provider.
- To register you for events and send related confirmations and updates.
- To send you newsletters and communications where you have asked to receive them.
- To maintain our records, improve our website and services, and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Lawful basis for processing
We process your personal information only where the law permits. 6. Operating across Africa and cross-border transfers

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
8. How long we keep your information
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet any legal, regulatory, accounting or reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- request the correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request the deletion or destruction of your information in certain circumstances;
- object to the processing of your information, including for purposes of direct marketing;
